A FORMER Scotland international has been unveiled as Ayr United’s latest signing of the summer.
His Livingston contract ended, thus he moved to Somerset Park.
With the Championship season only a few weeks away, the Motherwell-born defender joins the South Ayrshire team in the midst of a hectic Premier Sports Cup campaign.
After completing his final year at Hamilton, Devlin moved to Aberdeen in 2018 and lived in the northeast for four years.
He has also enjoyed spells at Fleetwood Town and Hibs before joining Livingston in 2023, unable to keep them from relegation to the Championship.
Devlin has earned three Scotland caps, making his international debut in a Euro 2020 qualifier against Russia in October 2019, which the Scots, in their first campaign with Steve Clarke as manager, lost 4-0 in Moscow.
