The club is pleased to announce the signing of Andy Murdoch on loan from Ayr United until January.

Murdoch, 29, started his career at Rangers and made over 20 appearances for the Gers’ first team, before joining Greenock Morton in September 2016.

After two seasons at Cappielow he was signed by Ian McCall for Ayr United and has remained at Somerset Park ever since, making over 150 appearances for The Honest Men.

Andy goes straight into the squad for today’s match against Forfar Athletic

The Clyde boss commented:

“Andy is a proven Championship level player and his signing comes at a good time as we’re a bit light in midfield numbers at the moment with injuries to Barry Cuddihy and Darren Lyon.

“He’s not played football in the past year due to an injury of his own but he’s ready to go again now and I know how much quality he has having signed him for Ayr. He’s also a very good character who will fit right in with the rest of the squad.”

Andy will wear the number 27 shirt for The Bully Wee.
