Following a collision this morning on the A760 between Largs and Kilbirnie, an ambulance crew attended to a driver.
Since then, the road has reopened in the wake of the 8.25 am incident.
The driver did not require hospitalisation, according to Police Scotland, who also verified that there was just one vehicle involved in the collision and that an ambulance was there.
The Haylie Brae was closed in both directions for more than two hours due to an accident that occurred one mile from Largs. However, according to police, traffic on the A760 has again resumed.
