Fabrizio Romano report that FC Barcelona and RB Leipzig have completed a deal for Dani Olmo, citing unnamed sources.

“All right, Dani Olmo to Barcelona! “Barca [sporting] director Deco has a verbal agreement in place following a crucial mission in Leipzig,” the Italian tweeted on Tuesday afternoon in Europe.

According to Romano, the “main part [that was] difficult to reach” an agreement on was the additional $7.6 million (€7 million) in add-ons to the potential purchase, which involves $60 million (€55 million) in guaranteed funds.

“Olmo agreed on [a] six-year deal valid until June 2030 and he wanted [the] Barca move,” Romano said.

Along with Nico Williams, who also played a crucial role in Spain’s recent Euro victory alongside Blaugrana stars Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Fermin Lopez, and Ferran Torres, Olmo has been Barca’s top transfer target this summer.

In the final match against England, Olmo cleared the ball off the line to help La Roja defeat the Three Lions 2-1, even though Nico scored the team’s first goal.

Additionally, when Spain won a record-tying fourth continental championship in Germany, the former La Masia academy prodigy concluded the competition as its joint Golden Boot winner for the most goals scored.

Olmo has spent the last four years playing club football there. He took the audacious and courageous decision to become a professional in Croatia at Dinamo Zagreb after failing to graduate from La Masia.
