Barnsley boss Neill Collins was left frustrated by refereeing decisions as the Reds were beaten 2-1 by Charlton Athletic.
After a collision with Addicks defender Michael Hector, Devante Cole was not awarded a penalty kick, and Fabio Jalo had a goal disallowed for offside. Charlton’s Alfie May scored twice, sending Collins’ men home with nothing.
Collins stated, “We should have been sitting here with a point,” following the game. However, it’s not because of a bad choice made towards the end of the game. I’m very disappointed since he’s a yard onside.
“It’s [the Cole incident] a stonewall penalty. Devante goes through, he’s about to shoot, he gets bundled over. How he didn’t get that, I’m not quite sure.”
