A new alliance between BARROW Raiders and The Meeting Place, a live music venue, has been revealed.

The Barrow Raiders Ladies squad has an agreement with The Meeting Place to provide support.

The team led by Amanda Wilkinson is having a great time in Group 1 of the Women’s Super League.

Having previously sponsored the Raiders Ladies’ midlayers during the 2022 campaign, the venue is continuing to support the club.

The Meeting Place’s owner, Gary Wood, stated on the Barrow Raiders’ official website regarding the new deal: “We at The Meeting Place are thrilled to be supporting Barrow Ladies once more this season.

“We’re all excited to cheer them on at as many games as we can. Their elevation to the Women’s Super League was well deserved.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the growing female rugby league scene and hope to spread awareness of the fantastic Barrow Raiders Ladies team to a wider audience.”

“We have worked closely with The Meeting Place to promote upcoming events and matchday tickets, so it is fantastic to see them extend this relationship further, in what is already an important year for the club’s women’s team,” Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale stated.

“I am thankful to Gary and his team for continuing to demonstrate the utmost faith in what we are trying to do. Deals like this are vital as we strive to continue the development of our female pathway.”

“The Meeting Place is a fantastic venue for Barrow and provides great live music and entertainment for everyone,” stated Adele Neale, commercial manager.

Gary’s decision to continue sponsoring our Women’s Super League squad makes us very happy.

“That guy is a wonderful partner for the club, and it’s wonderful that we can all collaborate so closely as neighbourhood companies to accomplish our shared objectives.
