A crash has resulted in the death of one man and the potentially fatal injuries of another.
According to Cumbria Police, the man in his 30s was the driver of a vehicle that struck a van on Park Road in Barrow at around 22:30 BST on Tuesday.
While the van driver was transported to the hospital with potentially fatal injuries, he was declared deceased at the site.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who was in the vicinity at the time of the collision are being urged to come forward by the police.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone that may have a dashcam in their vehicle, or from anyone who saw a black Audi or a blue Vauxhall van at the time of the collision.”
