A 65-year-old man has died after getting into difficulty in a Highland river.
Emergency services were called to the River Farrar in Glen Strathfarrar, south of Inverness, at about 14:20 on Saturday.
Coastguard teams, a search helicopter and police along with ambulance and fire crews were called out on Saturday.
Police Scotland said police divers recovered the man’s body from the river on Sunday. A spokesperson said his family had been informed and there were no suspicious circumstances.
Swimmer winched to safety almost a mile out to sea
Nearly a mile out to sea, a missing swimmer was recovered and winched to safety.
At approximately 16:00 BST on Thursday, three lifeboat crews and an HM Coastguard helicopter were dispatched to a site off Winterton, Norfolk.
Someone was heard “shouting for help” and the swimmer was reported missing.
The man was rescued by Caister Lifeboat, which reported that an ambulance had brought him to the hospital.
