Due to a shoulder ailment, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, the custodian for Birmingham City, has withdrawn from his assignment in Northern Ireland.
The 27-year-old was scheduled to represent his nation against Bulgaria and Belarus in the Nations League.
According to Birmingham World, the custodian will not be playing for his country in the next matches because to a shoulder ailment.
In addition to his injuries, Peacock-Farrell’s performance for Birmingham has declined. In their 3-2 victory over Peterborough United, he made a mistake when attempting to play out of the back, and as a result, he has been substituted for the last two games for Birmingham.
It’s unclear how or when Peacock-Farrell sustained his injuries, or if it was the cause of his dismissal. We are also unsure of the duration of his absence.
Peacock-Farrell and Ryan Allsop from Hull City moved to Birmingham from Championship Burnley in the offseason. Chris Davies was then left to select his starting custodian for the current campaign.
Peacock-Farrell started the first seven League One games for his team, but in the last two games for Birmingham, he was benched.
The Northern Ireland ‘keeper’ had an average Sofascore rating of 6.63 in the seven games he participated in. He received the greatest rating of 7.5 against Rotherham United and the lowest rating of 5.9 against Peterborough, the match that resulted in his benching for Allsop.

He was unable to stop Charlton Athletic’s goal in their match against them, though, and they lost 1-0. In this game, Allsop scored 6.1, leaving some supporters perplexed as to who ought to be their favourite.
