Early on Wednesday morning, the event took place at the High Tide Hotel in response to news of an unexpected death.
“We were called to Charnley Road, Blackpool, at 1.20am yesterday, following reports of a sudden death,” a Lancashire Police spokeswoman stated.
Our officers attended and sadly found a man in his 40s deceased. The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed onto HM Coroner in due course.
