Family found dead after unpleasant accident

A man and a woman have died in a Blackpool home fire, while their two children have been injured. The fire broke out on Peter Street just before 02:40 BST, according to Lancashire Police. The couple, both in their 20s, and their children lived in a home where neighbours had reported seeing “wildfires” and “dangerous flames.” One of the children is in the hospital in “very poor condition,” but the mother died there. Kara-Marie Pearson, a resident of the street, has described how her spouse used a bat to smash a glass panel in the front door, saving a small boy from the flames.

She heard a “almighty bang” and looked out her bedroom window to saw “the whole downstairs was literally in flames.” The two had rushed outdoors to help.

“It was like a wild fire; it was pure orange and you couldn’t even see it,” the woman said.
“Help, Help, Help!” was all I could hear the father yelling.

She said that the boy had “cuts and burns on him” when she took him to a neighbor’s house after he was rescued.
“He suffered trauma.” At the age of four, he was terrified. He collapsed on the floor,” she remarked.

We could only get that little boy out. Mum, dad and the baby, we couldn’t get out – it was too dangerous.” Jade Hartill, Ms. Pearson’s sister-in-law, who also resides in the area, told BBC North West She “keeps crying” tonight since she saw the fire. “You just can’t forget it,” she remarked. “The dad was shouting, ‘Help, help’ and we couldn’t help because the fire was absolutely crazy.” At that point, she stated, it “just went silent”. “I will always carry that with me. It’s really sad. Investigators are collaborating with the fire department to determine what caused the incident, but they have not yet disclosed the ages of the kids. The police noted that there had been no arrests and that it was maintaining a “open mind” regarding how it began at this point.
A limited quantity of residences have been displaced while the inquiry is underway.

According to Ch Supt Mike Gladwin, officers will “absolutely no stone unturned” in their investigation. His words at this “extremely distressing time” were that his thoughts were with the family’s loved ones. Ch Supt Gladwin said the “tragic news will be met with great sadness in the local community and people will want instant answers” but he warned against “unhelpful and upsetting speculation”. “There are grieving loved ones still trying to come to terms with this devastating news,” he said. He appealed for anyone with information or who captured anything on their CCTV, doorbell or dashcam to contact the force.
