In a Blackpool home fire, a man and a woman have perished and their two children have been hurt.
According to Lancashire Police, the fire started on the town’s Peter Street just before 02:40 BST.
The couple, who are both in their 20s, and their kids lived in a house where neighbours have reported seeing “wildfires” and “dangerous flames.”

According to the authorities, one of the kids is in the hospital in “very poor condition.”
While the father was brought to Blackpool Victoria Hospital and eventually declared dead, the mother passed away at the spot.
Street-dweller Kara-Marie Pearson has related how her spouse used a bat to smash a glass panel in the front door, saving a small boy from the flames.
The two had hurried outside to assist when she heard a “almighty bang” and noticed “the whole downstairs was literally in flames” through her bedroom window.

She stated, “It was like a wild fire; you couldn’t even see it, it was pure orange.”
“All I could hear was the dad screaming out, ‘Help, Help, Help'”
After the boy was pulled, she remarked out of the house she had taken him to a neighbour’s house with “cuts and burns on him”.
“He was traumatised. He was petrified, he’s only four years old. He fell to the ground,” she said.

“We could only get that little boy out. Mum, dad and the baby, we couldn’t get out – it was too dangerous.”

Jade Hartill, Ms. Pearson’s sister-in-law, who also resides in the area, told BBC North West She “keeps crying” tonight since she saw the fire.
“You just can’t forget it,” she remarked.
“The dad was shouting, ‘Help, help’ and we couldn’t help because the fire was absolutely crazy.”

At that point, she stated, it “just went silent”.
“I will always carry that with me. It’s really sad.

Investigators are collaborating with the fire department to determine what caused the incident, but they have not yet disclosed the ages of the kids.
The police noted that there had been no arrests and that it was maintaining a “open mind” regarding how it began at this point.
A limited quantity of residences have been displaced while the inquiry is underway.

According to Ch Supt Mike Gladwin, officers will “absolutely no stone unturned” in their investigation.
His words at this “extremely distressing time” were that his thoughts were with the family’s loved ones.

Ch Supt Gladwin said the “tragic news will be met with great sadness in the local community and people will want instant answers” but he warned against “unhelpful and upsetting speculation”.

“There are grieving loved ones still trying to come to terms with this devastating news,” he said.

He appealed for anyone with information or who captured anything on their CCTV, doorbell or dashcam to contact the force.
