Around 2.35 a.m. on Wednesday, four fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore, and Bispham were dispatched to the scene on Peter Street.
To put out the fire, firefighters utilised two positive pressure ventilation fans, six breathing apparatus, and three hose reels.
Photos taken at the scene reveal that the fire completely destroyed the house’s living room, leaving exposed masonry and severe smoke damage.
After the fire was put out and the police blocked off the road, crews stayed on the scene.
