Police close road after man found dead in Bracknell

A man has died in Bracknell  Thames Valley Police responded to calls at around 7am to reports of welfare of a man.

The man was provided with emergency care but was pronounced dead at the scene. Police do not believe that there were any suspicious circumstances leading to his death.

The road was closed in both directions whilst emergency services attended the scene at the High Street Car Park in Bracknell. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “At around 7am this morning officers were called to the High Street Car Park in Bracknell to reports of a fear for welfare of a man. The man was provided with emergency care but sadly was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances regarding the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner. The man’s next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
