Bradford City To Confirm new deal for attacker

Bradford City will most likely rebuild in the summer, but several present players should be retained.

Bradford City are poised to remain in League Two for another season. They’ll be determined to make significant improvements over the summer, and a successful recruitment drive will be critical in their effort to climb back up the rankings.

However, there have been several players who deserve to be praised this season, and they should be kept on after the season ends.

Among them is Jamie Walker, a Scottish attacker. Having played as an attacking midfielder, winger, and striker, the Scotsman has six goals and three assists in total. Injury sidelined him from late December to the beginning of March, but his production and work rate make him a vital contributor.

Walker’s future is uncertain, as his contract expires this summer, but Graham Alexander and Bradford City should strive to keep him beyond his current agreement.

Walker was in excellent form prior to his injury, and if he can stay fit and return to those levels, there is no reason why he cannot play a role in Alexander’s rebuilding of the Bradford City club.

His versatility allows him to play in a variety of attacking and midfield positions, and the work he puts in can help him set a high standard at Valley Parade.

It appears that the 30-year-old is also open to staying. He was recently questioned about the potential of signing a new contract, and he stated that he would want to stay with the club, but that he understands that he has prove himself in order to earn it.

A 12-month extension option is available, which can be used instead of entering into a new agreement. Walker, on the other hand, has demonstrated that he can be an important member of the team, and committing to a new contract would be a vote of confidence in his ability and a fair representation of what he can bring to Alexander’s Bradford City side.

Until the end of the season, Walker will be hoping to maintain a starting position to help him Demonstrate his ability to contribute in the future.
