More information concerning the two bodies discovered inside a Bradford West Gwillimbury house last week is being released by the police (opens in a new tab).
When South Simcoe police arrived to the Depeuter Crescent home on Friday to do a well-being check, they found inside the deaths of a man in his 60s and his wife, who was in her 50s.
It has been revealed by the police that the man killed himself and his wife a few days prior to their arrival.
Their true identities are still unknown.
Although the motivation is being investigated, investigators think intimate partner violence was probably involved.
The pair, according to police, had resided in Bradford for a number of decades and they disclosed that no previous police calls had been made to the residence.
The police service said on Monday that “no further information will be released, given the sensitive nature of what has taken place.”
