After being detained on suspicion of intentionally hurting someone after a stabbing that occurred on a Bradford street early on Friday morning, a MAN is still being held.
Just after 4 a.m. on Friday, there was a stabbing on Broadstone Way in Holme Wood, prompting the installation of a cordon.
Upon arrival at 4.16 am, police discovered two guys suffering from injuries to their legs.
After being brought to the hospital, they were later released.
A male, 33 years old, was taken into custody in relation to the event. He is still being held.
West Yorkshire Police provided an update today, stating: “The arrested man, 33, remains in custody having been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent in relation to the incident.”
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said in an early statement released yesterday morning: “At 4.16 am on Friday, police were called by the ambulance service to reports of a guy who had been stabbed in the leg on Broadstone Way.
“When officers arrived, they discovered two males with injuries to their legs; both guys have since left the hospital.
“A 31-year-old male has been taken into custody in relation to the event.
“Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID.”
