Following reports that a “woman was found on fire” in a Bradford McDonald’s lavatory, POLICE have released an update.

Police roped off the restaurant on Ingleby Road in Girlington on Monday afternoon in response to a report expressing concerns about safety.

When officers arrived, they discovered that a woman had been “found on fire in a toilet” after making additional inquiries.

The woman was rushed to the hospital with “significant injuries” after the fire was put out.

West Yorkshire Police have informed the Telegraph & Argus this morning that the injuries are not life-threatening.

As of right now, the issue is not being looked into.

As usual, the McDonald’s is open today.

“A woman has received serious but non-life-threatening injuries following an incident at a McDonald’s restaurant on Ingleby Road yesterday,” a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson stated.

“No one else was involved with this incident which is being treated as non suspicious.”

“Police are in attendance at the McDonalds restaurant on Ingleby Road, Bradford, after a woman was found with significant injuries,” a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson stated yesterday.

“A call about a woman’s safety at an unidentified location was received around 3:15 p.m.

“Officers responded to the restaurant after more inquiries, where they discovered a woman on fire in the restroom.

“TheĀ fire was put out, and an ambulance was sent to transport the woman to the hospital.

“Enquiries are ongoing but at this time there is nothing to suggest anyone else was involved in this incident.”

The T&A has requested a statement from McDonald’s.
