According to Alan Nixon on his Patreon account, Bradford City is considering a reunion with former star Tyreik Wright from Championship team Plymouth Argyle.
According to reports, the League Two team is trying to entice Wright back for a third stint with the team. Prior to officially joining Plymouth Argyle, he first played for Premier League team Aston Villa in 2022 while on loan. He made his second debut at Bradford City in January 2024, although he was hurt in his first game and didn’t play again until March.
Graham Alexander, the Bradford manager, said the team would make an effort to hang onto the player. In May, the Bantams reaffirmed their interest by pledging to pursue a loan arrangement for Wright and fellow borrower Dan Oyegoke.
The former Bantam is apparently attracting interest from other teams. He has also played for Walsall, Salford City, and Colchester United in League Two. Nixon claims that the player is eager to come to Valley Parade since it will give Graham Alexander’s team more playing time.
Tyreik Wright still hasn’t located a long-term residence where he can grow and settle. Despite having four different loan stints in League Two, Aston Villa was obviously not sold on keeping hold of the player going ahead and was eager to get him experience out on the pitch. The midfielder only made a few appearances before being sent out on loan once more when his move to Plymouth Argyle, first in League One and later the Championship, failed to produce results.
He is currently 22 years old and in a critical developmental stage that could determine the course of the remainder of his career. The ideal place to start might be returning to the area where he has previously experienced some success because he is already accustomed to the environment, the manager, and he also has a better chance of playing time than he would elsewhere.
