Dylan Youmbi was signed by Farsley Celtic after leaving Bradford City, the team’s official website stated.
After the previous season ended, Bradford City decided to sever their relationship with the attacker. Along with Liam Ridehalgh, Luke Hendrie, Matt Derbyshire, Noah Wadsworth, Sam Bentley, Harry Chapman, Heath Richardson, Isaac Robinson, and Finn Cousin-Dawson, they all left.

After spending the previous season on loan at Farsley Celtic, Youmbi, 20, is back with the National League North team permanently. These days, former Bantams scorer Clayton Donaldson is in charge of them.

He has officially signed with the non-league team in advance of the 2024–2025 season. They avoided being demoted from the sixth division previous season by finishing in 20th place.

Their newest addition, who is eager to prove his mettle after departing Valley Parade, will offer them additional competition and offensive depth.

Departed Bradford City youngster finds new club

Youmbi progressed through the League Two team’s academy system and has spent his whole career with Bradford City.

Despite playing regularly for them at several different young levels, he never made an appearance in a competitive first team.

Instead, he gained experience away from the Yorkshire outfit at Stocksbridge, Scunthorpe United and Farsley Celtic to get some experience under his belt.

He played 15 matches for the latter last term and they have now decided to bring him back as they look ahead of the new 2024/25 season.

What next for Bradford City?

Youmbi has left behind a Bradford City side who will be aiming for promotion under former Salford City and MK Dons boss Graham Alexander.

In an effort to strengthen their roster, they have recently ventured into the market to acquire Neill Byrne, Callum Johnson, Antoni Sarcevic, and Aden Baldwin.

To make room for newcomers, players like Ash Taylor and Matty Platt have departed in the interim.

Alexander’s team will be aiming to finish in the top seven the following season after nearly missing out on the play-offs the previous one.
