Following the discovery of an elderly man deceased in South Gloucestershire, a man has been charged with murder. On Saturday, June 22, at around 9:55 a.m., Avon and Somerset Police were called to a property in Mill Lane, Hambrook.
While emergency personnel raced to the scene, a 93-year-old man was discovered dead. Following his detention, 64-year-old Gary Moore was charged with murder. He will make his appearance today, Monday, June 24, at Bristol Magistrates’ Court.
Detective Inspector Deb Hatch, Senior Investigating Officer of the Major Crime Investigation Team, stated: “We suspect the deceased to be 93-year-old Robert Moore, also known as Bob, however formal identification has not yet taken place.
The family of Bob will continue to receive updates and support from specially trained officers, and our prayers are with them at this extremely difficult time.
