Hull City swooped to land the winger on loan in the January transfer window and he may have now played his last game for the Championship side.

To sneak into the play-offs, the Tigers must win this weekend at Plymouth Argyle and hope that West Brom loses to Preston North End at home.

As reported by HullLive, Rosenior provided an update on Zaroury’s status, saying, “It’s unfortunate that he won’t be available.” We’ll see whether there’s a play-off. I hope he has a few more minutes left in the Hull City jersey.

Hull City injury blow regarding Burnley loan man

Since joining the East Yorkshire team in the winter, the 23-year-old international from Morocco has made 12 league games and scored twice against West Brom and Southampton.

Zaroury is due to return to Burnley when his loan expires and the Clarets have a big decision to make on what to do with him next. He is facing an uncertain situation at Turf Moor as Vincent Kompany’s side look to escape the bottom three.

The attacker spent time in Belgium at Lommel and Charleroi before relocating to England in 2022.

With eleven goals in the previous season, he assisted Burnley in moving up from the second division. But since then, his playing time in the higher division has dried up, which is why Hull City was willing to let him go on loan.

The Tigers, who have won their past six games, are in a buoyant mood going into their trip to Plymouth Argyle.

They just need to perform their duties at Home Park and wait to hear from West Brom before asking Preston North End for a huge favour.

Last time out, Hull City defeated Ipswich Town 3–3 at home to secure automatic promotion. Goals from Ozan Tufan, Liam Delap, and Noah Ohio sealed the victory.
