This weekend, Burley travels to the capital to play West Ham in an attempt to snap their nine-game losing streak.

The team led by Vincent Kompany is currently 11 points outside of safety in 19th place in the standings after dropping their last four straight games.

They suffered their most recent setback last week against Bournemouth at home, losing 2-0 despite putting on a far better show.

Regarding the Hammers, they had defeated Everton 3-1 in their previous league game before losing 1-0 to Freiburg in the Europa League on Sunday night.

Josh Brownhill has returned to Burnley following his suspension, but Jordan Beyer is still questionable. Lyle Foster, Nathan Redmond, Aaron Ramsey, and Luca Koleosho are all out.

In light of that, the following is our projection for the Clarets’ lineup at the London Stadium:

1. GK – James Trafford

Looked low on confidence at times during last week’s game, but it would be a surprise to see Vincent Kompany drop him this late into the season.

2. RB – Lorenz Assignon

Has made the right-back slot his own since arriving on loan during the January transfer window.

3. CB – Dara O’Shea

The centre-back’s form has dipped in recent weeks, but prior to that he had been one of Burnley’s most consistent performers

4. CB – Maxime Esteve

Struggled a little against Bournemouth last week, as did his defensive partner O’Shea, so will need to produce a response.

5. LB – Charlie Taylor

Looks to have reclaimed the left-back spot from Hannes Delcroix following his recent return from injury.

6. CM – Josh Cullen

Cullen impressed on a rare start last week, so it would be harsh for him to be dropped following Josh Brownhill’s return from suspension. Unless Kompany opts for a midfield three?

7. CM – Sander Berge

Another regular starter that has been fairly consistent throughout the season. Important for the Clarets in both boxes.

8. RW – Vitinho

A surprise choice at right wing last week, but turned out to be one of, if not the best performer on the pitch.

9. CAM – Wilson Odobert

Far more involved in the game following Kompany’s decision to play him in a number 10 role off the striker.

10. LW – Jacob Bruun Larsen

Did well against Bournemouth last week, but will be hoping to have more of an impact in the final third.

11. ST – David Fofana

Will need to hold the ball up well to bring others into the game to ensure Burnley aren’t constantly on the back foot.
