Police have established that the human remains discovered near Finglandrigg Wood, off the B5307 outside Carlisle, are to Paul Taylor, a missing man from Annan.

Paul Taylor’s murder has already resulted in the charges of two persons.
Jack Crawley, who doesn’t have a known address, is accused of murder. The charge against Marcus Goodfellow, of Greystone Road, Carlisle, is aiding an offender.

Students dies in school a ‘tragic accident’, says college head
The student ran into trouble in the sea, and “tragically it was not possible to save them,” according to a college official.
According to Sussex Police, he was evacuated to the hospital and declared dead. His family has been notified.
Principal of Uxbridge College Dylan McTaggart stated: “Everyone here has been greatly impacted by this awful catastrophe. Taking care of everyone impacted is now our top focus.
“We will ensure that our community has staff and professional support available over the coming days and weeks. We have enlisted the assistance of qualified counsellors.”

Inspector for Detective Work according to Darren Taylor of Sussex Police, the Health and Safety Executive is on board with the investigation into the incident to ascertain all the facts.
He stated, “I would like to express my sincere condolences to the boy’s loved ones at this heartbreaking time. This was an absolutely tragic incident.”

Before the youngster was transferred to the hospital, emergency personnel and police arrived on the scene promptly, according to a West Wittering Estate spokesman.
