The prop, who was not included the last time, will try to make his Tigers debut.

Sam Eseh, a Wigan Warriors prop who is returning to the team on a new loan term, is someone that Castleford Tigers will be wanting to see make his debut at the second time of asking. Eseh, who just signed a short-term loan with Cas, is expected to return to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle, according to Rugby League Live.

The towering forward had only signed with the Tigers a month prior, but he had to miss the team’s triumph versus the London Broncos due to a hamstring injury sustained during the captain’s run. As a result, he was not taken on during last week’s draw against Leigh Leopards.

However, he will be available for selection when Craig Lingard’s team plays St Helens this coming week. For the first time since July 2022, the Tigers hope to go three games without losing. After winning two and drawing one of their first ten games of the season, Castleford is presently ranked tenth in the Super League.

After leaving Wakefield Trinity in the off-season, Eseh is a new addition to Wigan. Standing at six feet four, the 20-year-old first attracted attention as a Featherstone Rovers player in the Championship. He has since participated in 14 Super League games. He missed the first few games of the season due to an injury sustained during the preseason, therefore he hasn’t made his Wigan debut yet.
