John Hartson, a former Celtic striker who is now a pundit, believes that center-forward Adam Idah had all the qualities needed to succee permanent member of the Hoops.

The Irishman has had a significant influence thus far while on loan from Norwich City to the Celtics.

Idah has made 11 league appearances in Scotland’s top flight, contributing to two goals and scoring seven himself.

While some fans were disappointed with some of his overall performances, his strikes at Easter Road, Fir Park, and Ibrox were crucial.

The 23-year-old hasn’t exactly blown everyone away in the last two games at Hampden and Dens Park, but one has to expect inconsistency from a player of his age who isn’t getting regular minutes.

Last month, CeltsAreHere made public that Norwich is seeking more than six million pounds for his services. Hartson believes it would be prudent to sign him on a permanent basis.

The large Cork guy possesses qualities that the Welshman thinks will make him a successful long-term addition.

“He’s big and powerful, he can run in behind and he knows how to finish,” he remarked, according to the Glasgow Times.

“He might be a fantastic addition. With new additions, there may be some risk, but Celtic will know what they are getting. They are aware of his ability to score huge goals, handle pressure, and have an impact on games.

Brendan Rodgers must make the decision, but I am impressed with him. He appears like a well-adjusted boy with many qualities.
