The refereeing assignments for Celtic vs. Hearts at Tynecastle have been confirmed by the SFA. The Scottish Champions know that three points away from home can vault Celtic back to the top of the Premiership standings as they head across the M8 to take on Steven Naismith’s squad.

Don Robertson will officiate the match, according to confirmation from the SFA. Former footballer Robertson will have help from Daniel McFarlane and Ross Macleod. In Gorgie, Graham Grainger is performing Fourth Official responsibilities.

John Beaton is doing VAR work at Clydesdale House, assisted by Andrew McWilliam.

With a victory over Hearts, Celtic can take the top spot in the Premiership after Motherwell defeated Rangers on Saturday afternoon. Theo Bair and Dan Casey goals either side of James Tavernier’s dubious penalty gave the Fir Park visitors the maximum number of points.

Hearts won the last meeting between the two teams, winning 2-0 at Celtic Park in December. However, when the teams met at Tynecastle in October, Celtic were 4-1 winners. The manager will be hoping that his team can carry on from the second half display at Fir Park and the 7-1 win over Dundee.
