Chris Sutton feels that Philippe Clement, the manager of Rangers, is acting naively over his remarks made following the Celtic loss.
He believes that the Belgian is no longer the manager he was when he took over, and that he is following in the footsteps of Pedro Caixinha.
After losing 3-0 to their fiercest rivals at Celtic Park, the Gers are already lagging behind in the quest for the SPFL championship.
On September 2, Sutton stated to the Daily Record, “I always think that Pedro Caixinha’s speech was outstanding.
That was his issue, and Clement is following in his footsteps. I thought he spoke well and was measured when he initially joined Rangers. I’m not sure what’s going on or if it’s just Glasgow’s atmosphere, but it sounded like he was losing his train of thought.
“Everyone who witnessed the game understands that Celtic and Rangers are quite different from each other in every aspect of the game. It is almost crazy to come out later and portray the photo as not that horrible. A major problem is that everything he says is flat out incorrect, with the exception of the requirement for time to effect changes. His admirers cling to every word. Attempting to depict that scene when those fans have just seen a
