The premier player for the Celtics is now set to get a contract extension.
Tatum is qualified for a $315 million super-max extension over five years, and NBA source Shams Charania predicts that the 26-year-old and the Celtics will finalize the agreement after a title parade and celebration in Miami.
On “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, Charania stated, “I would expect some point after that Jayson Tatum, his agent, the Celtics get down to brass tacks.” “Does he truly have a player option at this point? Which ones are the kickers? Which bonuses are there?”
The Celtics will be linked to Tatum and Brown for over $600 million as a result of inking Tatum to this enormous contract.
