In Crayford, a man’s body was discovered in a river.
Police made the discovery this morning, March 3, just before 10.45 a.m. in the River Cray near Crayford Way.
In order to notify the man’s relatives and establish his identify, police are currently conducting enquiries.
Police are looking into his death, which they are treating as unexpected.
“We were called at 10:44hrs on Sunday, 3 March to reports that a body had been found in the River Cray, near to Crayford Way in Crayford,” a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman stated.
“Officers and the Marine Policing Unit of the Met responded together.” A man’s body was pulled out of the water.
“An investigation is still underway to identify the man and notify his next of kin. The passing is being handled like an unexpected one.
