A guy in Crewe who was convicted of sexually abusing a lady was given an eight-year prison sentence.

On Friday, February 23, Brandon Bentley appeared at Chester Crown Court and was given an eight-year prison sentence.

He was also given an indefinite restraining order against the victim and told to sign the sex offenders registry.

The 26-year-old had already been convicted guilty on two counts of sexual assault, attempted rape, and digital penetration. At the time, the suspect lived at an address in Crewe.

In the course of the trial, the court was informed of Bentley’s request to the victim to go out with him on Sunday, November 14, 2021.

The victim requested to go home after growing weary of sitting in his car till the wee hours of the morning.

Bentley trailed after her as she exited the vehicle and made her way to her front door. She attempted to shut the door, but he forced his way in, seizing her, and making an attempt to plant a kiss.

After forcing the woman onto the bed, Bentley sexually raped her while she begged him to stop.
Bentley again abused the victim sexually and shoved her against the wall before fleeing the address.

After being questioned, he was accused of forcing a female to participate in non-penetrative sexual behaviour, two instances of sexual assault, and attempt rape.
