Detroit Lions coach shares new update about the key players

Coach Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions claims that one of his players punched him this week, and he enjoyed it.

Due to a partly torn pectoral, the Lions forced veteran Pro Bowl centre Frank Ragnow to miss their Week 4 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. Along with the team’s Week 5 bye, there was anticipation that Ragnow would recover sufficiently to return to the field.

However, Ragnow was still hoping to participate in Week 4. Ragnow tried to prove he was ready to play before the Seattle game, according to Campbell, and he enjoyed it when Ragnow hit him against a wall at the team facility.

I am pounded against the wall by someone, and then I get punched again, and that’s when I realise it’s Frank wanting to show me how good his pec is,” Campbell remarked. “It’s a good way for him to tell me, ‘See how strong I am.'”

For Campbell, who is the ultimate football man and enjoys stories like these, this type of story is typical. Not surprisingly, either, considering Ragnow is among the hardest players on the pitch, having endured a wide range of ailments in 2024.

Ragnow returned to practice this week and is scheduled to make his Sunday comeback against the Dallas Cowboys.
