Retensioning safety barriers, marking lines, mowing grass, clearing gullies, and inspecting bridges are among the tasks that will be completed during the course of the night.
The A361 and A380 will undergo overnight repair starting next month (June), according to a statement from Devon County Council.

The work, which entails gully emptying, line marking, grass trimming, bridge inspections and the retensioning of safety barriers, will need many overnight closures. The hours of all closures are 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Between the Bolham roundabout and Gornhay, the A361 will be blocked overnight in both directions starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 16 and ending at 6 a.m. on Monday, June 17.

The road between Gornhay and Sampford Peverell will only be open eastbound between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18. As work is done in the central reservation, the outer lane on the westbound road will occasionally be blocked off. These lane closure lengths will adjust to the region that is being worked on.

The road between Gornhay and Sampford Peverell will be blocked westbound between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, and Thursday, June 20. As work is done in the centre reservation, the outside lane will occasionally be blocked to traffic coming east. These lane closure lengths will adjust to the region that is being worked on.

Lane restrictions from J27 M5 to Bolham roundabout will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Friday, June 21 to 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 22.

Between the Penn Inn roundabout and Eagle Farm, the A380 will be blocked overnight in both directions from 8 p.m. on Monday, June 24 until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25.

The road between Eagle Farm and Splatford Split will be blocked in both directions on the evenings of Tuesday, June 25, Wednesday, June 26, and Thursday, June 27. These overnight closures will occur between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Sunday, June 16, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Bolham roundabout – Gornhay is closed in both directions.

Diversion for eastbound traffic: Proceed south on Bolham lane/A3126, take the first exit onto Lea Road at the roundabout, take the first exit onto Heathcoat Way/A396, pass through one roundabout and then veer slightly left onto A361, which leads to the slip lane leading to the M5/Taunton/Exeter/Honiton.
