Witness appeal to help identify the driver of a light blue Mini
According to a spokeswoman, “Investigating officers are currently looking for the driver and passengers of a light blue Mini that was travelling directly behind the Meriva. It’s thought that they may have seen the collision and could be able to provide information to the investigation.
“The two passengers—a local woman and a guy in their 80s—were brought to the hospital after suffering severe injuries. Unfortunately, the man’s injuries from the crash have now taken his life. The woman’s wounds are not thought to be potentially fatal.
Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage or pertinent information that could help with the inquiry to get in touch with them by calling 101 and mentioning log 789 of June 21st, or by visiting this website.
