- Simaa Jebabli, a worker for the city’s Right Up Our Street community arts project, passed away last week, according to the organization.
A representative shared on social media their condolences for Simaa Jebabli’s untimely death.
“We will always remember Simaa’s light, smile, and wisdom. She was a lovely teammate on Right Up Our Street.”
Following Simaa’s passing, countless messages of condolence from friends, coworkers, and the general public have also been received.
“I will never forget your contagious smile, your hugs, the way you called me aunty every time we met, and your ability to brighten any room,” one person wrote. I still find it hard to believe you’re gone, dear soul.
“You will never be forgotten,” wrote someone else. You made so many people’s lives full of love, joy, and laughter. We will really miss you.
“Simaa was such a happy soul and a wonderful part of our team,” another person said. My sympathies go out to her friends and family.

“Simaa was my student and a beautiful person, inside and out,” said a different post. We spoke when I recently saw her. May she find peace in her resting place.
