Police seal off major Doncaster roundabout Man found

Police have closed down a significant junction in Doncaster this afternoon in response to allegations of a serious emergency.
Witnesses report that there are many police cars at the location and that the roundabout at the intersection of White Rose Way and Carr House Road has been partially sealed off.

There have been reports of increased traffic in the region, and police presence has reportedly been concentrated in the vicinity of Adrian Welch Glass and Glazing’s facilities.

A man was found unconscious in a Doncaster city centre after a serious assault just a short distance from the city’s main police station.
The man was discovered unconscious in College Road yesterday afternoon, and police were called.

Witnesses stated that there was a cordon in place at the event site, which was close to Doncaster Police Station and the former St. James’ Baths.

“We were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service at 4.18pm yesterday (Monday, June 17) to College Road in Doncaster following reports of an assault,” a spokesman for South Yorkshire Police stated.

“It is reported that a man in his 30s had been found unconscious in the street after being assaulted.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.”

“Enquiries are ongoing and we would encourage anyone with information to contact us.”
