Jort van der Sande, a 28-year-old striker who was capped by the Caribbean island of Bonaire, is expected to join Dundee United from Dutch side ADO den Haag. Sources tell Courier Sport that although a deal has not yet been signed and the player is still training with the Eerste Division team ahead of the new season, all parties are optimistic that an agreement will be reached. Van der Sande is believed to be eager to try his luck in the Scottish Premiership.
