The Dark Blues’ will be making no further comment on their latest staff change.
The departure of Greg Fenton, the previous general manager, has been confirmed by Dundee FC.
Fenton left the club with both parties’ permission.
Fenton has now completely cut his links to Dens Park, having also resigned on July 1 as CEO of the Dundee FC Community Trust (DFCCT).
Fenton was most recently mentioned in a club context in reference to the off-season initiative to address Dens Park’s persistent pitching issues.
Because of his work with the DFCCT, he was selected “CEO of the Year” by CEO Monthly Magazine in October of last year.
The Trust announced today, Friday, August 2, that it has sent a planning application for its intended new community training hub at Riverside to Dundee City Council.
If permitted, it will house a newly enhanced program for women’s and girls’ football and offer community amenities.
