Dundee United groundsman Paul Murray is set to make the move across the road to the Premiership side.

In an attempt to address their persistent Dens Park pitch issues, Dundee plans to raid United, their neighbours.

Paul Murray, a groundskeeper for Tannadice who plans to move across the road at the end of the season, has been targeted by the Dark Blues. United has already started to advertise for his successor. This season, Dundee has been heavily criticised for their pitching issues. Due to excessive rain, four games have been postponed, and the Tayside team has struggled most of the season.

Less than two hours before kickoff, their home game against Rangers was called off, and SPFL chiefs are looking into that as well. Given that Dens Park was the only senior game impacted that weekend, Philippe Clement was critical of the facility. A local contractor filled in for the long-serving groundsmen Brian Robertson and his son for Dundee earlier this season.

Employees from Burnley, a Premier League team that is affiliated with the Dark Blues, have also offered to assist on the pitch. This weekend, as Premiership action gets underway against St Johnstone, Dundee will be travelling.
