Following a helpful week off to replenish energy and get more players available and fit On Sunday, Featherstone Rovers will play an all-West Yorkshire match to get back into the swing of things.
The next Betfred Championship game between James Ford’s team and the Dewsbury Rams takes place at the FLAIR Stadium, a short trip away.

They will be hoping to build on their recent success and win five straight games after victories over the Halifax Panthers, Doncaster, Widnes Vikings, and Whitehaven.

This season, Fev’s performances have been hit and miss, but injuries have prevented them from creating any true continuity, especially at the half-back and full-back positions where they have already used a lot of players.

significant signing Paul Turner is integrating well and appears to be a valuable addition; however, he has played with a variety of half-back partners thus far. Danny Addy, the captain, was the most recent to play the entire game against Halifax, succeeding Connor Jones, Ben Reynolds, and Thomas Lacans.

Though Reynolds is unlikely to be available given his move across town from Hull KR to Hull FC last week, the latter is thought to be getting close to full fitness again and could return to bolster the squad for the Rams game.

Next rivals Dewsbury, who were promoted from League One, have had a challenging start to the season.

Ford will be anxious to make sure there is no complacency in his team’s ranks because they have only experienced victory once, in their local derby against Batley Bulldogs. Despite this, they have been playing generally better than their results have suggested.

Rovers, on the other hand, have launched a summer season pass for the nine home games still to be played at Millennium Stadium.

“We felt it would be a good opportunity to launch our summer season ticket,” chief executive Martin Vickers said, citing a gap in the home schedule.

“With their never-say-die mentality, James Ford’s guys have shown thus far in the season that they will always provide us with an amazing gameday while giving it their all for the team.

“We have already won back-to-back games against Wakefield, Halifax, and Widnes, and we are currently positioned well in the standings to have a serious shot at the postseason.”

Tickets for the summer season run as follows: £160 for adults 18–64, £135 for concessions 65 and older, and £35, for children 2–17.
