Man dies in incident at Farnborough shopping centre

Police were called to the car park by paramedics on Tuesday morning

Near the Surrey border, by a shopping mall parking lot, a man has passed away. At before 7:45 a.m. this morning (Tuesday, August 22), paramedics in Farnborough, Hampshire, alerted the police because they were concerned about the guy, who appeared to be in his 70s.

The incident happened close to the parking lot of the Meads Shopping Centre. According to Hampshire Police, there is no reason to suspect the death.

The man’s family has been notified of his passing, and in the next several days, the coroner will take over the case. “We were called at 7.45am today (Tuesday, August 22) to a report of the concern for the welfare of a man near the Meads Shopping Centre car park in Farnborough,” a Hampshire Police spokeswoman stated.
Officers responded to the site and collaborated with ambulance service colleagues. Regretfully, a 70-year-old local man was declared deceased on the spot. His family has been notified, and his death is not being investigated further. Soon, a file for the coroner will be prepared.”
