It makes sense that, with a chance to advance to Sky Bet League One, feelings would be running high as the Sky Bet League Two season nears its conclusion.
The entire team at Wrexham AFC, including players and staff, is incredibly appreciative of your wonderful support over the season, both at home and away, which has motivated Phil Parkinson and his team during our first EFL campaign since 2008.
In the event that we have a successful weekend versus Forest Green Rovers at the STōK Cae Ras, the Club may be promoted.
The Club would like to remind fans that, with one more home game left before the season ends, it is imperative that the surface be maintained to the normal high standards.
In light of this, we would want to alert supporters to the possible consequences of pitch invasions at any time during the remaining 2023–2024 campaign.
While some fans celebrated on the pitch at the end of the previous season, other teams witnessed unpleasant and undesired incidents when a small minority of spectators entered the pitch of play.
It is a criminal offence to enter the pitch and the real-life consequences for these actions have been felt by many with some fans receiving criminal records which can impact employment, education prospects and international travel.
Pitch incursions are dangerous and anyone who does encroach onto the playing surface will risk strong sanctions that could include a ban from attending matches here at the STōK Cae Ras and across the country, as well as facing possible police action.
It is not only yourself that can be disciplined, as the Club itself could face sanctions as a result.
We ask supporters to respect that the pitch is for players and the stands are for spectators, and to avoid any unnecessary disruption at such a crucial point of the season in our battle for promotion.
