With a victory over Bolton and just four points needed, Portsmouth is poised to make a comeback to the Championship.
With just four games of their League One campaign still to be played, Pompey need just four more points to guarantee automatic promotion.
Indeed, they may not even need that. A win away at third-place Bolton Wanderers this coming weekend would also be enough to secure a return to the second-tier of English football.
As a result, things are looking good for John Mousinho’s side, as they aim to end Portsmouth’s 12-year exile from the Championship.
If they are indeed successful in doing that, then one player who will have played a big part in that achievement, is Abu Kamara.
That attacking threat has seen him make some vital contributions to what now looks like being a successful promotion campaign for Pompey.
However, there is a problem for the club, in that Kamara is only on loan from Norwich until the end of the season.
As a result, it may be hard for Portsmouth to keep the attacker at Fratton Park for next season.
There is of course, a good chance that Norwich will now want to benefit from his talents themselves, given they will have seen what he can do during his time with Pompey.
Should that be the case, then the impact Kamara has made for the club this season, means he will surely need to be replaced.
In that situation, one club Portsmouth could look to in order to fill that void, is Fulham.
