Police had issued an appeal to help locate the 66-year-old
While looking for a missing man in Northfleet, investigating officers discovered a body. A prior request for assistance in locating a 66-year-old who was last seen in Swanley on Sunday, May 12, was made by Kent Police.
During the search on Tuesday, May 14, officers discovered a man’s body in Northfleet. There is no suspicion regarding the death.
The family of the missing man has been informed, however formal identification has not yet taken place, according to a Kent Police spokesperson. There is no reason to suspect his death, and the coroner will receive a report.
