The 36-year-old woman who was found dead at the Tummel Street property has been named as Maxine Clark.

A man is scheduled to appear in court on charges related to a woman’s death at a residence in Glasgow’s east end.

At approximately 7:40 p.m. on June 27, police were dispatched to the Tummel Street property in Riddrie in response to allegations of a woman suffering serious injuries.

At the scene, a 36-year-old woman was declared deceased.

Her family has been informed of her passing, and she has been given the name Maxine Clark.

On Monday, July 1, 2024, the 32-year-old male is scheduled to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

“A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Maxine Clark in Riddrie, Glasgow,” a Police Scotland spokeswoman said.

“Around 7.40pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, police received a report of a woman found seriously injured within a property on Tummel Street.

“Emergency services attended, however Maxine, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family are aware.

“The 32-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, July 1, 2024.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
