Obikwu’s adjustment to life in League Two was always going to be gradual. He is still quite raw and hasn’t played much senior football.

Nevertheless, David Artell has been gradually integrating him into the team since he has a tonne of potential.
He has so far made ten appearances for Grimsby and scored in back-to-back matches this month against MK Dons and Sutton United.
Although the prospect hasn’t scored in their past two games against Gillingham and Wrexham, he is accumulating a lot of game experience, which will benefit him.
