A MAN whose body was found in a Midland graveyard was murdered, police revealed today.
The victim was named as care worker Paul David Hadley, pictured, aged 40. His body was discovered in the churchyard of St John the Baptist Church, in Queensway, Halesowen, on Wednesday morning.
The West Midlands Police Major Investigation Unit is hunting his killer after a post mortem confirmed Mr Hadley died from a head injury.
Det Insp Will O’Connor said the night before being found dead, Mr Hadley had been drinking in pubs in Halesowen.
He added: “Mr Hadley was wearing a very dark brown leather jacket that could be mistaken for being black, a navy blue sweater with a lighter blue trim around the collar, blue jeans and black shoes.”
