Teenager and man dies after road crash in Halesowen

It has been revealed that a teenager died in Halesowen after a car struck a tree.

The crash that occurred in the early hours of today morning (Friday, January 5) on Coombs Road also left two other people injured.
Both were brought to the hospital, one with significant wounds.

After receiving an emergency call at 3:17 a.m., West Midlands Ambulance Service said it dispatched two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and a MERIT trauma doctor to the location.

“Upon arrival, we discovered three male patients, one of whom was found to have suffered critical injuries in the incident,” an ambulance service representative stated.

Sadly, it didn’t take long to realise there was nothing more that could be done, and he was pronounced dead at the site.

“Before they were both taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, a second patient received treatment for serious injuries, and a third patient received treatment for injuries that weren’t thought to be serious.”

Since the early hours of the morning, police have been on the scene, blocking off the road while investigations are conducted.
