Following gunfire directed at a car in Halesowen earlier this month, police have taken into custody a teenage teenager.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident that happened on May 16 just before one in the morning when a Nissan Qashqai allegedly shot at and rammed an Audi on Maypole Fields.
However, police have been looking into what transpired, and they verified making one arrest today.
“We have arrested a teenage boy after shots were fired at a car in Dudley earlier this month,” a West Midlands Police spokesperson stated.
“On May 16, we were notified that, shortly before one in the morning, a Nissan Qashqai had shot at and crashed into an Audi on Maypole Fields in Halesowen.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.
“A 16-year-old Sandwell boy has been taken into custody on suspicion of having a gun.”
“He is still being questioned while in detention.
