Following a collision on Highway 410 in Mississauga on Tuesday morning, a woman was evacuated to a hospital.
At 11:22 a.m., emergency personnel were summoned to a collision involving three automobiles in the northbound lanes of the highway close to Derry Road.
Photos from the Ontario Provincial Police purport to show a car and truck involved in a violent rear-end accident on social media.
Seen above on a grassy bank beside the roadway, a third vehicle pulled off the road as a result of the event.

An air ambulance took a woman with significant injuries to the hospital, according to Peel paramedics who spoke with CP24.
Three more people were transferred to a nearby hospital, according to paramedics. We don’t know how serious their injuries are.
The reason behind the crash is being looked into.
During the cleanup, police blocked off Highway 410’s northbound lanes between Courtney Park Drive and Derry Road.
